The refreshed interior, marked by bold color choices and upbeat music, has transformed the dining experience while maintaining a strong connection to its traditional roots. Regular visitors consistently praise the quality and flavor of signature dishes like fajita and al pastor tacos, noting the care in preparation that elevates familiar Mexican fare. While the venue often experiences wait times during busy periods, the overall ambiance contributes to a festive and welcoming environment. Some feedback points to minor adjustments in condiment availability and napkin provision, reflecting cost-conscious operations. Despite occasional concerns about parking and neighborhood surroundings, the combination of upgraded décor, flavorful cuisine, and spirited service makes Taqueria El Paisano a favored spot for both longtime patrons and newcomers alike.
Been coming here for ages. The outdoor area has been spruced up a bit but overall great tacos. Always get the fajita or alpastor tacos and they always hit! A little disappointed that they took out the salsas and kinda stingy with the napkins but I get it, you gotta cut cost somewhere.
Taqueria El Paisano has been reopened and remodeled! The restaurant looks great renewed and vibrant! It has great music and a lively atmosphere, not to mention the same great menu and delicious food! My friend and I visited this location this afternoon. There was a slight wait to get seated, but it was not too long. Also, don't forget to sign in to get seated.
First time here from out of town. The neighborhood is a little rough. I was not too happy about that. The parking was tight, but I did find a spot in the lot. There was a bit of a wait as we preferred a booth. Wow, the pink color is ALL over the place. I heard they recently remodeled it. I ordered 2 tacos al pastor and 3 steak. They crisp up the tortillas on the flat top which really elevated the tacos. They were DELICIOUS!!!! I am a taco snob-aficionado! Self proclaimed. These are some of the best tacos ever !!!! Whenever we are back in Dallas, this is definitely a spot we will be checking out. Again. And again.
We stop by with a party of 19 people. This place was different! The atmosphere was fun and bright (too much pink for my liking) overall the vibe in this place was exciting. Families were celebrating birthdays, get togethers. Nowhere what this place use to look before. It was a total upgrade on the inside. The fajita and Al pastor tacos were delicious. Horchata was on point. I would be coming back and enjoy some more good food.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The way the owner renovated the place from the ground up is amazing. I recommend La Tiza which comes with 12 tacos! Walking in I was instantly happy and greeted so nicely. She definitely sprinkled some fairy dust in this place because everyone is dancing! Oh also the drinks have glitter! Kudos to the owner!!!
Really impressed with the makeover, my family had been coming here for many years the tacos are a great price and delicious! We like getting tacos and quesadillas, side of rice and beans YUM! The atmosphere is family oriented friendly inviting, the parking is a struggle sometimes but worth it. They now serve alcohol that’s a plus!
They have the best tacos and salsa picante! definitely a go to spot for late-night dining, the line is usually out the door during the weekends
I had an amazing time! The pink floral interior was stunning, and the renovations made it look even better. The service was quick, and the food was just as delicious as before. I absolutely loved my quesadilla. Definitely a must-visit!
